Pulling teeth!

Shelly, my sweet little thumb-sucker, had to get braces this summer with a thumb-gaurd that keeps her from sucking her thumb. But, her canine teeth were in the way of the braces being able to do their job, so they had to go. Shelly was really nervous (as was I) about her getting those teeth pulled, but after a little laughing gas...
and a few unnoticed shots (thanks to the gas)....
everything came out just fine. 2 down, 2 to go...hopefully those will be just as easy, too. I guess I can't use the phrase, "It's like pulling teeth to get you kids to do something" anymore!

Baby Clarissa is here!

Clarissa EmmaRose Moody was born on Halloween at 10:05 am. She weighed 8lbs. 3.5oz and was 20.5 in. long. She is healthy and happy and very patient with all her brothers and sisters fighting over holding her!
McKay said Clarissa looked deep in thought and he was imitating her.Shelly is so excited to have a new little sister!Nathan loves his sister, too!
Reagan couldn't wait to have a little sister, and never wants to let her go!
Max is still learning not to hit, so this is probably the closest he has gotten to her. I'm sure he will love to hold her later as long as she stays smaller than him!
Here's the whole fam damily! I think it's funny that I've gone the whole year without blogging, and now that I have 6 kids I find the time to post! Course, I guess I thought this was an important enough event that I needed to post something...and I finally uploaded some pictures onto this computer. I've missed you all and hope you enjoy the update!

Too Long!

Ok, I can't believe my last post was in October! So for those of you that don't know, I moved to Mesa the week after Christmas, and I would NEVER recommend moving during Christmastime. As if Christmas wasn't stressful enough without packing and all the moving drama. So, no Christmas cards this year, and no blogging for 5 months...craziness! I also sold my computer, so I have to sneak times when my husband isn't using his to get on and check my email, but even that rarely happens. Enough excuses, right? (even though I do have more...like the crazy schedules of 5 kids!, but I won't go into details!) So, I am here to say, I am still alive and loving life, even though I live at my in-laws now with a room the size my bed used to be ;) I do enjoy being in Mesa though, where I grew up, and being so close to all my family! I will try to be better and post more often, but I make no promises! When I am busy and stressed, this is one of the first things to get neglected, but know that I still love you all and am still here! Your Friend, Julie

Ward Campout

Our family went camping last weekend in Payson with our ward (friends from church). It was really fun, but really cold during the night. Luckily, we all survived thanks to the Morgan's pop-up trailer that had heat! The rest of the ward got to rough it (freeze) until the fire got started at the crack of dawn. Thanks, Morgans! We love you!!
Max thought the camera was the coolest thing to look at! He kept making the cutest faces looking directly at the camera - love it! Shelly loves holding her little brother! She's going to be such a good mommy! Reagan couldn't leave home without Merriwhether (Sleeping Beauty's #3 fairy - it's hiding in her hand.)
Of course, McKay couldn't leave home without a lightsaber! Definitely a necessity when camping!McKay's close friends Robert and Michael. These boys are practically inseperable! They had so much fun!

Max is 6 months old!

Nathan holding that huge, cute 6 month old Max! Max's legs were kicking really fast and he was giggling. Nate was definitely struggling to hold his little brother, probably explains why his eyes were closed!

Preschool is so awesome!

These are our awesome preschool kids: Colton, Tyler, Hudson, Reagan, and Emma. Colton did NOT want to put a costume on, it was really funny, but the other kids could not wait til the end, so we did the "theater" part of our lesson first. They were too cute, I had to get a picture.
So our story that they acted out was a terrible dragon (me) tried to attack the princesses and the superheros saved the girls and then took them dancing at the ball. They acted it out a couple times while Colton played with the baby.
